Christine is new to Boca Raton but not new to the real estate business and sold a mix of land, multi-family, residential and new construction in the Lake George area before relocating to Boca Raton in August 2018.
Ms. Ross lives a diverse and eclectic, family-centered life; she “retired” from journalism in 2003 when her son was born and while serving many years as president of the PTSO and semi-professional volunteer in the Lake George Central School District, Ms. Ross owned and operated a tiny yoga studio in the back of a dojo in Queensbury, NY. With billable hours left in the day and a child by then in 3rd grade, she joined Coldwell Banker. When the “child” turned 14 and was accepted this year into FAU’s early college program, Ms. Ross sold the family’s upstate NY home. (In less than two weeks, she is proud to say, pricing it exactly right for the market and getting exactly what they, as sellers, wanted for it.) With the house in contract and many sets of skis in storage, the entire family ~husband, son and dog~ moved to Boca in August.
“Yoga keeps me grounded when real estate makes me crazy,” she says. “I’ve written offers on the bottom of upside-down 5-gallon buckets in the Adirondack woods, schlepped through flea-infested basements with buyers looking at commercial buildings in Glens Falls, and serenely sold lakefront mansions while staying focused on what really matters: that moment in time where the business of real estate becomes that moment of convergence and the deal is made ~ buyers and sellers united in (contingencies willing) perfect agreement.
Christine W. Ross: Reliable. Resourceful. Relentless.
