Started and managed an Accounting Department for a start-up company. Integral part of successful system conversion from Great Plains to Oracle. Developed physical inventory procedures resulting in a significant reduction in labor costs. Assisted in preparation of schedules and review for the SEC for a secondary public offering

Karen has been a business owner and resident of Florida in both Palm Beach and Broward county for almost 20 years. Originally from California, she has also lived in Colorado and North Carolina.

She has been in real estate for over a decade and has a wealth of experience in both Commercial Real Estate, where she began her career, and in the investing side of Florida residential real estate, in which she owned her own business specializing in short sales and foreclosures.

Prior to her real estate career, she was a CPA with KPMG in San Francisco, California. With her accounting knowledge and experience in both commercial real estate and investing, she has great aptitude for analyzing deals and getting things done.

Although she can't say she is "fluent" in Spanish, she does have the ability to communicate with her Spanish clientele and establish an understanding that allows her to serve them as well as her English speaking clientele.
